Usage guidelines
Do
- Use the exact mark and wordmark supplied in the brand repository without modification.
- Maintain clearspace around the mark at all times.
- Pair the logo with the official Notareum palette.
- Use the light-mode logo on light backgrounds and dark-mode on dark backgrounds.
- Refer to the protocol as “the Notareum Protocol” on first mention, then “Notareum” thereafter.
- Describe integrations as “built on Notareum” or “verified by Notareum”.
Don’t
- Do not alter the logo — no color changes, outlines, drop shadows, or rotations.
- Do not re-set the wordmark in another typeface.
- Do not combine the Notareum mark with your own logo in a way that implies a formal endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
- Do not place the logo on photographic backgrounds without sufficient contrast treatment.
- Do not use pre-alpha palette values found in early online drafts.
- Do not use the Notareum name for derivative products or forks — rename forks clearly.
Acceptable usage examples
- “Our wallet integrates the Notareum Protocol for verified address sharing.”
- A “Verified by Notareum” badge next to a confirmed resource in your UI.
- A footer link: “Powered by Notareum” routing to these docs.
Unacceptable usage examples
- “Notareum Premium by <Your Company>” — combines the name to suggest an official tier.
- Embedding the logo inside your product icon.
- Using the Notareum palette in a competitor’s marketing materials.
